Capital Ex-change is now the Thought Leader Summit taking place during National Education Week.

The Capital-E Foundation is a non-profit organization which was founded to enhance the quality of online learning in the United States.

Housed within the Capital-E Foundation, the Center is advised by a diverse panel of luminaries from throughout the different practices of online education, both to assure constant relevance of the Center’s work to the online education industry and the highest quality control of that work.



The Center addresses the legal and policy needs of education practitioners by:
  1. Serving the global online education industry (pre-K through 12, post-secondary, job training, lifelong learning) whether academic, for-profit, or nonprofit.
  2. Providing guidance to international, federal, state, and local lawmakers and administrators whose legal and policy decisions govern the online education industry.
  3. Building upon best online education practices.
  4. Staying relevant and real to the actual legal and policy problems currently confronting lawmakers and administrators.
